Welcome to Money Headquarters
It's Anthony McDonald and I would like to provide you with some insight to my learnings over these last 20 years of operating in the Finance Broking world.
Debt is a vital factor in contributing to and taking away from individual and family wealth. It is a complex area and it is important to seek help in getting it right.
I have been helping people to get it right for more than two decades.
I established Money Headquarters in 2013 to focus on the demand from my existing network of clients. Since then Money HQ has continued to build a strong reputation based on my expertise and outstanding service.
Asked what drives the business, “I’ve always focused on strategy. This means gaining a good understanding of your objectives and then devising strategies to achieve the best results. Often you have to look outside the box and this is where I feel I can make a difference. The product solution picks itself when all factors are considered. I have observed that many finance advisers begin with the product solution. It is a transactional approach and often ignores some crucial aspect which is very important to you, the customer. I feel my approach is the right approach because my clients keep coming back to me and they keep referring their family, their friends, and their trusted colleagues. And when they do, I can’t help but give my best to help them in any way I can”.
By following my 13 virtues of a successful lending practice. I strive for
1.Reliability. I and Money HQ will strive to be the “North Star” for every client interaction. With every question presenting as a threat, our clients need to know we have their back.
2.Consistency. Everyone deserves our very best effort, every time.
3.Communication. Debt is usually sought to buy an asset which often carries an emotional attachment. I will strive to keep people informed at all times and be open to communication from them whenever they need.
4.Relationship. We must understand our clients in order to be able to help them and we must give of ourselves to allow them to know to trust us.
5.Appreciation. Every approach is a gift which provides our business the opportunity to grow and prosper. We must never take that for granted..
6.Development. No business can survive if it stands still. We must adapt to change by ensuring our knowledge and our capability are constantly improving.
7.Fairness. In our pursuit to provide the best outcome for our clients we must be fair to all parties. If we are not fair to all, then our service is not sustainable and we ultimately do our clients a disservice.
8.Selflessness. A business has a profit motive but this must be subservient to the needs of our client. At all times we will act in their interests.
9.Community. We must recognise our place in our communities and recognise other members of those communities. We must give back for the common good wherever possible.
10.Respect. Everyone deserves our respect. We want the best for our clients but must allow others to do their jobs without hindrance. The respect we give out will eventually be returned to us.
11.Professionalism. We are a part of a broader profession and must be leaders in upholding the standards expected of us as well as to contribute to its growth and reputation.
12.Mentorship. We have knowledge and experience from our industry and from life. Where it is sought, give it freely and with positive intent.
13.Collaboration. We are not all knowing. Our clients will have questions we cannot answer and we must build and maintain a “brains trust” to guide them on matters we cannot.
